From the day I began to receive messages inviting me to international fashion shows I died little by little. The first day I cried with each invitation, the second I was moved and even danced and today that emotion is still intact.
Literally this is a dream for many, and I am part of that group, so when I received the invitation for the COLLECTION 2 collection of Alexander Wang last December 1st in New York I couldn’t believe it … and yes, I think that’s what life is about, to get excited and never lose that illusion for what you love, so it becomes custom.
I got the invitation and to be honest … I thought it was an invitation to a sale that is usually made by several brands in New York with incredible discounts … but no, it was the invitation to its Pre-Fall 19 so obviously we took up the challenge.
The show was divided in 2 moments, the first act was to enter the One hanson place in Brooklyn and to find Christmas decoration that Alexander Wang said everywhere while you enjoyed some macarons with caviar and listened to a group of background that sang cheerfully.
Then Alexander Wang appeared to enter his fashion show and reported that this was also part of a social work, thanking everyone and taking a selfie from his place.
Then you entered the totally black space with red neon lights that hardly let you find your place and voila, began the show to the rhythm of Black Skinhead of Kanye West with an accelerated pace that could barely see the details of the looks, however, what I can tell you is that the trends were claritic: animal print, unisex, happy faces, chasmere, python and union of totally unstructured silhouettes with touches to the body.

I must definitely say that this was my favorite part of the show, I’m grateful and happy, I swear it’s something giant for me. See you next time!
